The apple of my eye

It is the last breath of summer and my first vacation (ever!) just started. I've been doing some editing of photos taken this March. It's crazy that I haven't had the time or peace of mind to do it until now. I'll be doing some traveling during my vacation and hope to catch a few snapshots well worth editing later on. I will also bring home the love of  my life, the apple of my eye, my beloved Charlie. Usually he follows me wherever I go, like a shadow, but he's been at a farm since february, waiting for me to solve the daily puzzle of working, commuting and finding a place to live. I'm sure that he has had a blast at the farm, but now it's time to come home.

April then and now

Two years ago, the hills were covered in tiny white Anemones and the buds burst with life. This year, icing winds and a not so gentle mix of hail and snow forces everybody inside.

I'm not thrilled.
