April then and now

Two years ago, the hills were covered in tiny white Anemones and the buds burst with life. This year, icing winds and a not so gentle mix of hail and snow forces everybody inside.

I'm not thrilled.

Last summer was all about work, but the year before I spent a magical afternoon at the Garden of the Sofiero Castle. If I could I would make a Garden of my own, with inspiration from this one, full of roses, peonies, ponds and magical forest paths to follow as the sun paints the leafs with golden flakes.
